The magnificent boulevard turns into a festival of tastes
This weekend, Düsseldorf is looking forward to a culinary highlight: from August 24 to 26, more than 200 selected exhibitioners turn the Königsallee into a festival of tastes. The Gourmet Festival will stretch on 2.3 kilometres on the right and left side of the Kö-Graben, from Graf-Adolf-Platz to Hofgarten, and will surprise visitors with the finest delicacies.
The mix of quality, relaxed indulgence and sophisticated flair is creating excitement in and around the Rhine metropolis for the eighth time. The number of visitors has been rising continuously, therefore, the shops at Königsallee will be open on Sunday as well. The Open Air Food Festival also offers a great opportunity to discover new trends from the catering scene or new products. Next to modern classics such as Wagyu Burgers or Craft Beers, creative Food Bowls and spirits specialties will await the visitors.
A good festival of course needs good music. Therefore, the InterContinental Düsseldorf is teaming up with the renowned DJ Axlnt to create a Saint Tropez Feeling, sustained by the Mediterranean food.
Attendance to the Gourmet Festival Düsseldorf is free. Opening hours are:
24.08. from 1.00pm – 10pm
25.08. from 11.00am – 10.00pm
26.08. from 11.00am – 9.00pm
