Woolrich opens new store in Düsseldorf and expands its retail network in Germany
American brand Woolrich John Rich & Bros. continues to expand its retail network in Germany: after the Woolrich Store opening in Stuttgart, and the more recent one in Frankfurt, the brand now celebrates the opening of a new Flagship Store in Dusseldorf.
The Dusseldorf boutique is located in the Altstadt and covers an area of approximately 520 square meters. The new store reinterprets the concept designed by Japanese architecture firm Wonderwall with a modern yet heritage-driven approach. The interior is defined by a harmonious blend of items recalling the history of the brand, founded in 1830, contemporary design pieces, and traditional elements, such as the vintage wood paneled suspended ceiling characterizing the ample fan-shaped entrance hall. The space will host unique customer experience devices borrowed from the brand’s Milan flagship store, such as a customization area, touch screen displays and digital tables, a museum area dedicated to the history of the oldest American outdoor brand, as well as green installations.
In addition to numerous faces from Dusseldorf, prominent guests like actors Tom Beck and Patrick Mölleken, TV hosts Mara Bergmann and Katja Burkard, artist Leon Löwentraut, Model Alexandra Lapp as well as influencers like Kosta Williams attended the cocktail party opening.
With this new store, Woolrich meets its expansion target of 8 new Germany store openings, after its Flagship stores in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Sylt, and Stuttgart.
